She gets it and dribbles a bit. Keeper way out and she hits it nicely for it to fly over and in.

I got 2 delivered from Dhgate, those very bright, clearly fake Matildas kits I see many wearing at games. No judgement or the like but the shading is horribly bright and the logo is black instead of green. I reckon they're on sale across SE Asia at markets. Bali in particular.

FA apparel department is terrible and every time I come home to visit the retail stores have mass scarcity of kits.

No wonder people seek something online. The sites use pics of the official one then send these near orange ones. Another I got was made on one of those printing machines.

Men's team hasn't been on Dhgate for 2 years but during WC I got 8 kits which all looked just like the 'official' ones but for a slight smaller emblem. Colouring identical.

Are you saying Arnold should be the next Matildas manager?

I mean, wouldn't be the worst suggestion.
 
Nice win that. Germany lost their way and Australia keep it smart and simple.
 
I watched the extended highlights and they are quite one sided.

The Tillies were under the pump and avoided many goals by the luck of a bad shot from a player who you would have expected to do better.

A win is a win, and our two goals were earned and deserved. Good to see some focussed play under a manager who should be starting to pick players for their output and form.

It was scary to hear that Sermani introduced I think they said 8 of the starting team in his previous stint (was it 2012?). Sums up the lack of progression as a national team but looking sharper and more forward thinking now under him already.

Great to get the result and good on the team.

I think it shows a lack of progression in womens football in Australia, there’s not enough young players coming through the system.
