The Medical Room - Injury Updates

You see their fans screaming about being injury prone. But a bad tackles not exactly his bodies fault.
Exactly that. In this case it's just rotten luck. It sucks but it's different to McGree and Farrell who keep hurting themselves.

Fuuucckkkk looks like achilles!!!

Damn that's rough. He's had an excellent run of matches so I guess the law of averages has come out here.

It certainly dents our CB debt in terms of quality but I'll say this, it makes the selection of Herrington all the more easier even if it was always going to be the case.

This is how quickly can go. Rowles suddenly back in the frame and Degenek not off the short-list yet while others are lining up for a chance at a squad.

Bos still in Australia by the looks. Lenient from club but there's trust in local medical facilities. It'd be unlikely for a player from, say, Ivory Coast to go home for family and rehab time.

Not entirely sure about the photo date but the posts are recent.

Is on crutches for 3 more weeks, haven't listened to it all yet but that was the only thing mentioned at the start.

Socceroos defender Cameron Burgess has been ruled out for the entire EFL Championship season in a bitter blow on the eve of the 2026-2027 campaign.
Poor bloke didn't miss a minute of last season and now won't play a minute of this coming season. He'd have higher club match minutes than any Socceroo over the last 5 years I reckon.

Watched the full interview, Bos at the end said it's probably another 5 months until he's back on the pitch. It'll be around when the Asian Cup is starting. Hopefully that's worst case scenario though.
Jordan Bos has now said that he'll be out for six months with the injury which is a bruised ACL, grade 2 MCL tear and complete tear of the meniscus so he's in serious doubt for the Socceroos' Asian Cup campaign.

No, he said it's 6 months from when the surgery happened which was over a month ago now, he said in the interview, its a 6 month injury, with 5 months to go.
So if it is 6 months from surgery (mid-July?) and the Asian Cup starts on January 7 (Australia's group games 9/14/19 Jan) it sounds to me like it is quite unlikely he will be at the Asian Cup.

Bos said by the Asian Cup he is unsure if he would've been playing already or just returning. It seems like minimum expectation is that he'll be available in some capacity whether that's at the start of the tournament or later in the tournament.

Bozinowski is injured which is why he hasn't been making Heracles squads. Club frustratingly vague about the issue only ever referring to an "injury". The latest report saying he was doing rehab external to the club, which is weird.

Sounds serious
