Australian transfers 26-27 Summer

Do you think he'll start?
I don't know the exact form of McNair, Ajayi and Egan. Very experienced but old, slow legs. Hughes is young and highly priced.

I think Herrington may not start initially but will get eased in. Injuries and suspensions are inevitable and for games where Hull have a chance he's more likely to play than a deep block of the older guard against City or Arsenal.

Even if the transfer fee was low Brisbane Roar would still be getting little to no return from Lucas Herrington's move to the Premier League though.
Roar won't be getting exactly nothing from the transfer:

I've heard from multiple sources that they will be getting something like $1.2mil up front and then $1.8mil later which makes up the $3mil.

I also won't be surprised if he starts. He's literally made every post a winner so far so no reason he'll stop now.

So they sold half their clause?

Even if Brisbane Roar get $3 million from the Lucas Herrington transfer it would still be only a fraction of the value they would've received if they had kept the sell on clause.

Not relevant to our national teams, but a big influx to Vietnam this week with Jason Cummings, Lawrence Caruso and Khoa Ngo all moving there.
Blast from the past, Tomislav Mrcela has moved to Hadjuk Split II in the Croatia 3rd tier. Soon to be 36, wonder what the thoughts are of both him and the club. Thought the reserves team was used for player development?

The framework is there to develop young kids and sell them to Europe and actually sustain a profitable club doing so. Any development coaches at an A-League club should be on more money than any First Team Coach.... this is how you make the league sustainable... constant talent flowing through that clubs can profit from.

Amen, Praise the jas88.
