He was in a sling at Christmas. Wouldn't think he overexerted himself and reinjured it but rather just a delicate injury. I can't stand murky details. While clubs are under no obligation to give timeliness it'd be good to have more accurate information. Pretty sure the NFL has an up to date portal on injury progress and expected return date.
 
That Boro squad tonight looked really different. McGree will have a senior leading role now. I almost feel it'd be better to move on this window still.

Lachie Rose and Ryan Strain are examples. Honest toilers at A League level. All credit to them, but neither were standouts locally. Lewis Miller another.

Celtic and Rangers would struggle to stay in the Championship. The bar is set very low.

The best outcome for Scottish football would be to integrate with the English structure. As a very small, poor country, going it alone will mean they remain an irrelevance. Won't happen though.

Scottish league is run by old out of touch suits as well for example their tv deal is shite

Jelicic is an interesting coach. My feeling is that he's capable of managing at a higher level- somewhere like Russia for example - but I think I read years ago that he didn't have the necessary quals for some leagues. Has had good success in Uzbek, bit of a mixed bag in WA from the little I have gleaned from his time there.

When EPL sides play AL sides, they never lose.

That's the difference. And that's why only B/C grade Australians wind up in the SPFL these days. None of whom make the starting XI of the Socceroos. SPFL standard is less than AL standard but it is a better shop window, pays slightly better, and it is a full on passionate football culture - which is the only real advantage they have over our league.

On the flipside, you can look at the amount of next 'a-leage' stars taht have gone to scotland. and succedded. Very, very few have had a big impact. Some have done okish

For my calculations there has only been one in 20 years who has dominated and become a star there, Rogic (can't think of another?)

There is a massive list of failures too.

If celtic or rangers are in season they absolutley destroy an a-league side. I like the a-league but its not even close.

I think Scotland has been good for Rogic, Mooy, Irvine, Devlin, Boyle, Rowles, Miller, Strain. There are others carving out good careers. I think the criticism's of the league are not baseless but they're not balanced either. It gets unfairly maligned.
 
It's been a couple of years probably since I really took notice but there was a lot of criticism of Scottish pitches, even Hampden came under attack. Plastic pitches but maybe that's changing as I think Falkirk for one have either switched to grass or are intending to. St Johnstone described as a potato paddock, Dundee serious waterlogging issues, Dundee Utd pitch sandy/lack of cover, Kilmarnock plastic, Ross County criticised also I think.
