Aussies abroad 🌍🦘

Id argue Hearts and Hibs slightly above too and would top the A league. The rest 100% A league, and id argue even the bottom couple of teams maybe slightly below A league level
This issue has been discussed so often on these boards.

The SPFL is rubbish compared with where it used to be and most AL sides would beat most SPFL sides.

Celtic have been here twice in recent years and were beaten by both the Mariners (when they'd just come last in the AL) and SFC when they'd just missed the finals.

Sure, it was their off season, but it was also ours.

When EPL sides play AL sides, they never lose.

That's the difference. And that's why only B/C grade Australians wind up in the SPFL these days. None of whom make the starting XI of the Socceroos. SPFL standard is less than AL standard but it is a better shop window, pays slightly better, and it is a full on passionate football culture - which is the only real advantage they have over our league.

Martin Boyle started and was subbed in the 59th minute for Hibernian in a 2-1 First Leg win over KF Shkendija (North Macedonia) in Round 3 of Conference League Qualifying. Ante Suto came on in the 59th minute and Jack Iredale was unavailable through injury for Hibernian.

Ante Šuto needs to consistently play if he’s aiming for a Socceroos cap.

Kasey Bos not in the matchday squad altogether for Excelsior in their Eredivisie opening day game against SC Cambuur.

Ah Wrexham eliminated early is nice so we don't have to see any fake build up marketing.
