Hey man, grass has my support. atleast some clubs have stuck to their guns and stayed with the grass pitch..even if that means sometimes it’s not at its absolute peak. Give me a pitch with some bobbles over a synthetic one any day of the week.

Marconi Stallions FC can confirm that Head Coach Peter Tsekenis and Peter Papoythis will conclude their tenure with the Stallions at the end of the current 2026 NSW NPL season and the 2026 Australian Championship Competition.

The matter has also been referred to the independent Football Victoria Tribunal, which will determine whether any additional sanctions should be imposed on individuals and/or the club, which may include financial penalties, education and training, points deductions or match restrictions.

In addition, any further enforcement of FV’s Three Strike Policy remains under consideration, as the investigation continues.
