Not sure how many of you know this, and it was only bought to my attention yesterday when I saw riot cops at our match against NWS Spirit.

So our youth played Hakoah Sydney City East at our home ground yesterday, and there was cop presence from 8am till the last match of the day at 5pm. Hakoah have their own private security, and the police helicopter circled Edensor 3 or 4 times during the course of the day. Our club only got notified the day before. Apparently, this happens to all their away games, at the expense of the taxpayers.

Talk about over kill.

i thought that as well, but speaking with the police officer he said they get this treatment at all games ever since the bondi shooting.

Fuck, i didn't see local football fans shooting at the Jewish community that day.

There is a jewish school next suburb from mine, it has had a seco/or cop posted at the front gates for over a year or so.
Even before the Bondi shooting B, since those car fires and properties vandalised in the eastern burbs.

All due respect, highly doubt he’d make much of a difference. Squad player imo, and that’s coming from someone who could best be described as a squad player back in my playing days. What might make a difference is if Marconi could try and get James Temelkovski back on loan from
Rockdale Ilinden for the the championship since it looks like they won’t be qualifying themselves
