2026 Australia Cup final rounds thread

Was thinking more about the botched and ironic naming of both Houston Dynamo and Real Salt Lake 😂
I think Houston Dynamo are the only club in world football that have the name Dynamo/Dinamo that was created or helped by the sect of the Moscow Sports club.

And also only Dynamo club in Orange.

Again, also unfortunate because belmore used to be better than what it is now. Used to feel more like a neutral suburban venue akin to Leichhardt oval. Now it’s fully been colonised by the bulldogs nrl team
Fuck, it is their ground. They still had their offices in the main (only) stand. They are now adding their centre of excellence opposite said stand.

Wanderers v Melb victory at Marconi is interesting.

APIA v United venue tbc. If Leichhardt is n/a will be an interesting litmus test for where APIA play games going forward with the aforementioned venue out of action

CommBank Stadium not allowed to host cup games til quarter finals at the earliest due to WSW and Venues NSW arrangement.

Larissa Reserve is terrible if they maybe want to segregate crowds. Also wouldn't meet broadcast standards. Thought they'd host it at Somers St though.

Larissa reserve would have hosted if it was a day game on the weekend, as Heidelberg are playing in the cup final on Saturday thats off. Had they drawn an A league club i know for a fact it would have been next Sunday at Larissa.

But yeh sending it to the middle of nowhere not ideal, wonder if they could have gone to knights.
