A-League Women/Matildas transfers and delistings

I feel like debating the league belongs in a different thread. Can we keep this to be the Aussies abroad transfer thread?
Please use this thread instead for any discussion surrounding the Dub heading into season 2026-27 and keep this thread related to transfers, contract extensions and delistings involving Matildas players at home and abroad.

It would be good if a few more members were interested in discussing women’s football.
Oh well, I guess I will have to keep flogging a dead horse. 🤔

Please feel free to help bring in more people. I’ve been trying for months.

Kyah Simon is making the move to Hibernian after leaving Dijon on a one-year deal ahead of SWPL season 2026-27 getting underway, subject to international clearance and approval from the Scottish Football Association. She's been assigned the number 71 jersey and will be under contract at the side for the entirety of the upcoming season.
I don’t know how she’s still getting moves she is always injured. In the season she was with the Mariners she only played a couple of games.

Hope she actually plays!!!

Yeah if this doesn’t work out she should probably call it quits.

Yep and she didn’t even play any at Sydney FC. She only played a few games for Dijon too (though she did score a hat-trick in the Coupe de la Ligue).

Aideen Keane has extended her contract at Melbourne City for a further year and will remain at the side for the entirety of Dub season 2026-27.

City finally able to keep a player lol.

Karly Roestbakken is extending her contract at Melbourne City for a further year and will remain at the side for the entirety of Dub season 2026-27, which will be her fifth season at the club.

This one should assure City fans with Alexia Apostolakis gone. Funnily enough I thought she’d be one of the most likely to go with her Norwegian connections (i.e. I assumed another Toppserien club would’ve picked her up like last time she left).

Katrina Gorry is taking a break from all association football for the remainder of the 2026 calendar year to be with her family and will not return to play until January 2027 at the earliest.

Tegan Bertolissio is headed to Western Sydney Wanderers from Canberra United and will be under contract at the side for the next two seasons through the end of Dub season 2027-28.
