High Volpato Voltage

Volpato allegedly tests positive for cocaine doing a 109km in a 60km zone.

I didn't think we had actual cocaine in Australia... anyway his rise in popularity was short lived. Hope he gets the help and direction he needs.

We have more powder coke than crack. Crack is huge in the Americas (e.g. Brazil and the US) but it’s not that big here. Cocaine is notoriously expensive in Australia though.

If he gets the help he needs then he could be forgiven depending on the situation.

Probably an accident like the Japan emoji... FFS pull your head in. No excuses!

If he can make a calculated decision to fly around the world for a passport and world cup then he's well aware of consequences of decisions.

In all seriousness though, can our star players just be normal for once? Mark Bosnić doing coke, Trent Sainsbury going full cooker mode (not a crime but still), Sam Kerr being racist (to be fair that court case was a bit of a waste of time), now Cristian Volpato doing coke too?

I’m not saying anyone’s inherently a bad person (Trent seems a bit mental), in fact I think Bozza and Sam have shown their remorse and Cristian could possibly do so too depending on the pending court case. However, you can’t be doing this type of shit.
I don't recall what happened with Sainsbury?

Adrian Mutu got banned for 7 months.

What suspension could Volpato get?

He's not in competition, and he was caught by the police rather than WADA. He might not get a doping ban at all.

It's an atrocious look, at any rate. We all do stupid shit when we're young but he really needs to learn from this.
