I can't express how much I hate the player turner over. Risdon is an a league legend so should be some celebration or acknowledgement instead you just randomly see his in a npl club. Other sports don't operate this way

I feel like keepers are a bit different though. Especially experienced ones.
I'm sure they have him still hitting the gym and exercising regularly while he is away.
It's more concerning when your starting striker has only done a couple of weeks of pre-season.

It really is a while till the season starts. I’ve been advocating for a longer season forever.

But yeah, I doubt he’ll have any issues by missing one preseason game. If he misses it he might miss the chance to play against Chelsea though.
