Argentina are an absolute shit show and were such a horrible team to watch. Even watching Messi try to get Cucurella sent off over barely putting his fingers over his mouth. Whiny and dirty the whole tournament. So glad they lost.

Agreed, and what was truly sickening was the preferential treatment Argentina got from the referees throughout the entire tournament, Argentina would continue to commit fouls and they would go unpunished (eg. Messi dug his studs into the calf of an Algerian player, no card was given). Egypt were robbed big time, and they were many other instances where referees and VAR would give questionable decisions in favour of Argentina. And there's Infantino and his pet Messi, FIFA is supposed to be neutral, but it's clear as day FIFA is very biased in favour of Argentina.

I'm glad Spain won, they were terrific and played perfect football, but one thing for sure, this World Cup has been a public relations disaster for FIFA and Argentina.

I only saw colombia play

most other games I was at fan fests etc (which was a great atnosphere, but because I can speak spanish sufficently I got interviewed about tnen fucking times by a mix of news and sports shows in mexico)

TBH, the bars and restaurants atmosphere was just as much of a vibe

It's amazing what speaking a bit of the local language can get you, no one expects you to be fluent but even basic shit goes a long way. I learnt some basic Spanish when I was in Colombia and it was great.

I ended up at so many random houses, or people back at our pad or got taken out to eat at places just cause I could speak enough,

I am still sending voice notes to a cab driver who wants to learn english and took me to awesome back street place to eat.

He can now say 'Go fuck yourself cunt' in a perfect aussie accent :ROFLMAO:

Only at the Zocalo which is a massive outdoor fan fest

And another at bar which the bar owner took the bottles from behind the bar and just put them on our table to straight drink :ROFLMAO:
 
I can imagine the buzz due to the Cup.
Amazing vibe even without it.
They are great people - luv music, partying - every trip of mine there wish I could stay longer.
Women are sexy as ! unlike tsf me no single, I look admire/dream - been to some great bars the girls dressed in corsets/mini skirts - jugs just hanging out !
