SPAIN ARE WORLD CHAMPIONS! The Roja claim their second World Cup trophy and will receive their second star on their men’s team’s jersey!

Spain are also now the first team to ever hold both the Men’s and Women’s World Cups at the same time, already being the only country other than Germany to have won both!

Firstly, congratulations to Spain on winning their second World Cup, and seriously f...k Argentina bunch of cheating turds, Argentina should have never reached the final. Spain played perfect football, just like the way they did in Euro 2024, it looks like Spain is going for the treble like they did between 2008-2012.

It’s a good thing Spain won but I personally do not like their football philosophy of essentially 11 highly technical midfielders across each position on the pitch. It’s also really boring to watch.

WC finals are always cagey affairs for the most part, but Spain’s development system almost shot themselves in the foot.

It took them a red card and extra time, even with all their territorial dominance to get one over the line.

Well that's it, no more SBS until the Australian Championship broadcast starts.
I think they’ve had good guests and analysts.

I like the way they are including a few female players, who have been former Matildas too.

Even though Tommy Oar isn’t a coach ATM, and has astute insights, agree with the poster who wants more coaches on panels.

The likes of Pim RIP, Muscat, Ange, Aloisi, Milligan , Phil Moss, and to a lesser extent, Kewell, identify issues very quickly. All have appeared as pundits.

Respectfully disagree.

The first extra time Spanish disallowed goal should have stood, to make it 2-0.

Loved watching such astute Spanish movement to support the Spaniard on the ball.

Sometimes there was minimal movement, because the superb body shape led to flawless passing technique, hence accuracy, which led to Spanish eye of the needle passing through condensed Argentinian space.

I’m sure plenty agree with you though, RL. To quote them I think LFC and SBear agree with you.
