That hasn't necessarily stopped the announcement in previous years. They know the designated AFC tournament matchdays and can give the teams favourable weekend scheduling brackets surrounding those blocks.

Would it be accurate to occasionally think that the Apl are alittle misogynistic, apathetic toward the women's game?
Ownership models cannot be vetted indefinitely or forever. You choose a consortium model eventually or you don't.
The issue just sits & floats like an unflushed terd in the dunny.
Apl don't have high enough levels of finance as it is yet, they overly waste time baulking at those willing to toss money at them. I would withdraw my interest in a club after 4 weeks of vetting personally.

Yes - that is a bit of an argument over here - APL can bankroll the men's clubs waiting for a buyer, but haven't done so for Canberra United (When it's realistically and inevitably cheaper to do so)

Again, is just furthering the timeline - did I not call it?

Having a look at the portfolio of Theo and ASG - I'm glad he is a football person, but what this says to me is that they had the money for the womens, but not the mens, and this gives them the time to find more investors for the mens side.

Now, from what I gather, there is nothing local about ASG, so I have a feeling when the above inevitably fails, they'll just fuck off out of town and the Women's side is back to square one. Which would almost be a death knell for football here - Canberra loves women's sports (as far as I can see, it has women's sides in national competitions where there is no mens side in Football, Cricket and Basketball)
