MOTM for me.I think Cucurella has been bloody brilliant in this tournament and today he stepped it up. Real Madrid made a good decision signing him
It would be an even more amazing performance by Cape Verde should Spain end up going all the way because then they can say that they managed to hold the eventual world champions to a draw on opening day of their World Cup campaign, and likewise Graham Arnold can say that his Iraq side managed to do the same albeit in a pre-tournament friendly.Amazing performance by Cape Verde.
Ole ole ole
Eat it French
Dam it re shouts
My heart was spain head went French blew that
Been a bit between drinks re winning.Well, it was fun while it lasted I guess. Gotta let everyone else win some.
At least Pedro Porro put on a masterclass.
Level pegging with Porro as well for me - his work rate also is strong and his run and finish was first class.MOTM for me.
Yes 2 fullbacks outstanding for Spain & so was Rodri, just totally nullified the weak French midfield.Level pegging with Porro as well for me - his work rate also is strong and his run and finish was first class.
Someone should approach the coaching staff for ongoing employment.Amazing performance by Cape Verde.
Man if the kid had his arm any tighter against his chest it would have to be surgically removed after the match.Maybe looking at it again, I don't think they would have given it though if that was the only infringement. Anyway Digne striking the leg like that made it cut & dried.
same.MOTM for me.
Agreed Rodri was outstanding.Yes 2 fullbacks outstanding for Spain & so was Rodri, just totally nullified the weak French midfield.
I predict 7,400+ passes. An ArgEsp final will have plenty of Latino shithousery.
The chip inside in the ball can only detect human hair and not the amount of passes.I predict 7,400+ passes.
No possession = No attacking threat. People take the piss out of Guardiola's tiki taka with Barca however the constant movement of the ball meant that possession just wore the other team down. I thought France were going to go all the way and if they hadn't met Spain they probably would have.pain proving that effective possession of the ball and very little mistakes can nullify any threats from a French team with an array of attacking talent - you would have to say whoever they play England or Argentina that Spain would be favorites now.

Spain v Argentina would be a very interesting battle to watch though lots of fouls sprinkled with brilliance but a real Latin battle
England v Spain not so much, more a case of moments for England that can produce a shock (Bellingham/Kane) against a Spanish team that will keep the ball and probably win 1-0
Had Spain all along but felt they lacked something but we will see
