This guy Bill is a parasite. Its funny how he talks about not bagging players yet he abuses every South player except Mesourouni. Against Gully he went ballistic at Jankovic. Yet when Mesourouni tripped over the ball and Gully almost scored from it he didnt say boo.

Not sure what was said to Messa jnr or by whom but if it was personal abuse that's not on.
 
Board purely acting on emotions and no logic at all if the decision has been made to ban fans and members. I wonder how much weight these bans carry.

Not sure how enforceable bans would be but at least any members who feel wronged would retain the right to be heard at AGM

I was actually anticipating South to charge at least $25 per Adult ticket, so I'm stunned in a weird way that we are charging a reasonable price. All patrons are going to need to purchase tickets including members.

Unless we start winning soon, I cant see the crowd being that big.

Don’t agree at all with this mate… we can voice frustrations out of the 90 minutes but it’s hard for the boys to focus on the football when one of their own is being abused on the field by his own supporters

And thats a valid opinion.... if thats the issue thats bringing down our playing style then come out and say as much and i assume when we all stop the team will start playing the football we saw when we were dominating.. no, wait though, he wasnt getting a look in by force then was he??

If its a problem quit as president, walk with your son and go to oakleigh and he can play there and he can complain about not respecting him as some saviour freely!

$20 is about right. We need to remember that Collingwood v Geelong will be on at a packed MCG at the same time. We are in no position to be fleecing the public.

Adding to that, a 3 week cup window and a day that doesnt clash with one of the biggest Thursday night afl games of the season couldnt be found?

Maybe our club should turn their attention to that and worry less about the supporters.

His minutes haven’t really changed that much have they? Tends to play between 5-20 minutes as a sub, and it’s not like we have that many other depth attacking options to bring on anyways (tends to come on at the same time as Lackay who’s about his level)

He’s started four games that I can remember - one last year when the whole reserves team played, one at the start of this year when we’d played an OFC match three days earlier, one vs Bentleigh (we ended up winning 5-1) and one vs Gully (which was a mistake I agree)

Of all those games only really the Gully game was a shocker, and he wasn’t on his own that day

Don’t get me wrong i agree with the frustration and don’t particularly rate the kid either

I’m just not thrilled about one of our own being abused by his own supporters

Was willing to put water in my wine as i had written for the good of the club, but when his old man acts like that and follows up with more rediculous threats then its clear there is no mending, just a need for excision!
