In all honesty, if we kept our main players AND the likes of Dovison, Leech, O'Sullivan, etc then would we need many signings?

Ideally we would need a Defender to cover for Eliopoulos, and perhaps a better striker. But if Bonada stays, then maybe we are ok up front.

What role does Yoo play, btw? Who's spot does he take or does he complement our system?

Both training this morning.. Only Campbell has gone. Yoo covers for whatever the hell Lackey was trying to do on Friday I guess.

Yoo can play on the wing or midfield mostly the 10 role Dovison is 100% at Bentleigh now
 
To win the cup you need a striker that is a killer.. there wont be huge amount of chances and you need the ones you get to be made to count!!

Even more than this though, we need a CB that is top class.. eliop is out and any makeup without him is not gonna get past the round of 32/16. CB shouldve been the main priority along with a striker..

My hope is we get class in both those!

a decision we also scratch our heads over... understand Dovison was a better choice to leave behind if you were trying to put your best other 11 on park for NPL but surely as we saw/all know the comparison between him and Lackay is chalk and cheese .. Dovison perhaps ready and wanting more game time which he wouldnt get with us, is the reason i would think. Think if a proper striker comes in that front line becomes too stacked and provided little opps for dovison to have played..

Have we seen any other departure?

Singh is the obvious one and Bayside Argonauts are interested in some of our U23s players.

I agree but the fact is that with the whole squad returning he wouldn't get much game time.. He's a great kid and going to Bentleigh will get him out on the pitch for the rest of the season where he deserves to be... He'll be back stronger and wiser one day... Will always have a soft spot for that Dockerty Cup goal... The kid bled blue and white, all the best legend.
