The only way Hellas is going to defeat Adelaide United is if the Round of 32 fixture is played on July 14. Adelaide United commence their preseason training on July 2nd. Even though players would have likely had training/dietary programs set up for them in the off season, they'll only have about 2 weeks together.

Make no mistake - without significant strengthening of our squad with another 3 quality players, this will be a very difficult fixture.

We owe them one since what happened in 2004.

Good chance some of Kikianis, Alagich, Yull, Dukuly and Jovanovic go overseas in the next few weeks.

It’s a good draw in terms of it being an interesting fixture, but it certainly won’t be easy

We should be able to draw a crowd of at least 4,000 to this match. A good pre-match corporate event should also generate some good cash as well. Make it a real festive atmosphere as the first Australian Championship match was.

Given Australia Cup fixtures are not part of the membership, charging an average ticket of $15 should also generate good ticket revenue as well.

Plenty of financial upside out of this.
