I prefer country over club. Clubs you can just buy players and $$$ makes to big a difference where country you have to use the squad you have

Why would you be banned?

He was trying to sell No Doze to forumites so they could stay up for every single game in the World Cup. As I wasn't getting a cut of sales I had to ban him.

In england the interest for the world cup and the national team dwarfs the epl, its not even close. Also true for the euro. The constant news coverage, every pub and even church showing the matches, every commercial, talk around the office etc

This is anecdotal, but amongst the football fans ive met a surprising number have two teams, a lower division one and an epl one, sometimes choosing a different epl one each year which they care about as much as movies at the cinema, aka just an entertainment product, while they care about the lower division team a bit more.


Again this is anecdotal, but the kids my childrens school, even when there isnt a major tournament on, are much more likely to have english kit than club kit and talk about one day being such and such english player (rashford comes up a lot for some reason)

Can you expand on why it's a problem supporting country over club especially when you hate the a league I'm interested in this?
