Every time we move Giannakopoulos back to defence we lose our a bit of our control of the midfield battle. It highlights the lack of a third quality Centre Back in the squad. This needs to be rectified in this midseason transfer window.

Eliopoulos is light running at training, only 1-2 weeks away.

Despite our areas of concern if we didnt have the ofc pro league we would be on top right now.

Our future in the ofc worries me because we probably need to sacrifice at least 6 games a year if not more. You cant just be giving away 18-21 points in this league.

Hopefully we can get drawn at home in the Australia cup. We have a fantastic away record this season but we simply havent played enough games at lakeside.

Of what they are saying about the OFC league is correct, the load should be a lot easier to manage next year...

Did we finally sacrifice Swibbel so MessiRooney can play? Bonada proved a point tonight, ran and pressed like a madman!

That Massarouni dive turnover edge of the box that almost led to second goal gave me flashback of Altona first goal... week off didnt do all that much for us it seems...

I actually though the top 2 pair of Bonada and Messy-Rooney Okon Jr worked really well together and shared the attacking duties nicely:

Bonada applied high press, made all the runs, held up the ball, presented a target for the wingers and generally terrified their goalkeeper and Nepo baby did.... well.... ummm..... he took a shot over the bar.

I think I heard that the transfer window will open this Wednesday. We'll know by the end of the week if we have signed any players.

I actually though the top 2 pair of Bonada and Messy-Rooney Okon Jr worked really well together and shared the attacking duties nicely:

Bonada applied high press, made all the runs, held up the ball, presented a target for the wingers and generally terrified their goalkeeper and Nepo baby did.... well.... ummm..... he took a shot over the bar.

Every forward line needs a top class decoy...

After Friday's match, to be honest, I dont think we DO need a signing just yet unless we ARE going to make a serious play for the Aus Cup (which I doubt).
