Yes and if the madness of 64 nations occurs play some games in Singapore.So Australia,NZ,Indonesia and Singapore.It does involve a lot of travelling for teams and fans.

Given the vast distances with this one and the next, a UK, Ireland, Benelux wouldn't go astray but the fewer hosts the better for that true cultural experience that it's 'their' tournament.

I think so but just keeping in theme with spreading. I read somewhere that England actually lacks FIFA recognised stadiums. I saw something that even Anfield would need upgrading. Hampden Park is an abomination of a ground. I guess one could play matches at Twickenham too but London has enough big stadiums.

It won't be feasible to host matches in Singapore though because only the National Stadium meets the FIFA requirements and some of the training facilities are not really up to the required standard.

Singapore would only be big enough for one stadiumand a small set of match . The training facilities can be built. Kuala Lumpur is also nearby.

The trouble is the number of automatic spots it grants.

Australia NZ and Jakarta (JIS and GBK) would be fine and then a Home Nations and Ireland - or the other way round

Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay would only get three matches celebrating the centenary of the World Cup with the rest of the tournament being held in Spain, Portugal and Morocco though.

As EZ mentions, its all about the $ I won't be surprised expansion considering currently this Cup is delivering with the added numbers despite all the angst of ticket costs etcetc

At this point - just scrap qualifiers and make my Davis/Rimet Cup a thing - then essentially everyone gets to host at least one match.

To be perfectly honest I think it has been successful - and I was thinking it would be an unmitigated disaster

With 64 teams, 4 countries could host the group stage with 4 groups of 4 in each country. Then 1 or 2 countries host the final 32 knockouts.
So it could be South Korea, Japan, Australia, NZ, with Australia and NZ sharing the final 32?
Only way Oceania ever get to co-host.
