The meme is making fun of the original tweet from the english posterLove the enthusiasm guys but not entirely sure why you would both be proud Australians watching a 10 year old boy cry?
Meme or not, that sounds terrible.

Hind sight is 20/20, but the meme should probably use an ai generated kid (for all i know it already did) so its clear it is making fun of the english journos unhinged take rather than the kidFair enough. Hope neither of you become a "meme" one day.
Nice of you to stand behind a friend. That Tyson Otto sounds like a much racking piece of crap...Hind sight is 20/20, but the meme should probably use an ai generated kid (for all i know it already did) so its clear it is making fun of the english journos unhinged take rather than the kid
But in the end a meme that has been shared thousands of times in multiple countries was shared by a 23yr old alex with the intention of being seen by a couple of hundred aussie friends. Of all the times the meme was shared, this time uniquely resulted in thousands of death threats and media coverage here and abroad. The police have asked him to keep the tweet up in case a death is followed through on, they have a record of the motive.
We put on a lighthearted face to help cheer Alex up and help him move on, but in the end whatever stress u imagine comes from being a meme Im sure Alex has experienced it
