Poppa Out

No, not really. Compared to other nations sating they'll dominate in a sports Australians will take in their confidence and knowledge of what they can do.
I will point you in the direction of Rugby league, Australian rules and Cricket supporters, then you may think again.

Well I know that but that comes from being either upper class, totally dominant or in a bubble.

Tunisia have sacked their coach. Popovic had better be looking over his shoulder if we don't win 3:0....

So Saudi Arabia draws against Uruguay. Asia so far having some truly great results. If this continues in hindsight you gotta give Poppa more credit for qualifying the way he did. Taking over after Arnold left us in a really bad spot. We get results against Saudi and Japan away from home. First win against Japan since 2010 world cup qualifying I think also? Direct qualification. In a transition phase as well getting a bunch of new players in and trying out many new faces. Willing to change the team. The team looks so different now than it did lining up against Japan and Saudi a year ago.

I will point you in the direction of the Aussies against the great West Indies teams. Australia cricket supporters loved them, respected them and celebrated them.

If you are a mid-tier football nation (like all of Group D) you don't get to be arrogant.

It really doesn't - only Okon-Englster and Beach got their start under Popa. Yengi and Velupillay came on as well.

Since then, you are the ugly sisters of world cricket.
