Agree here and a compatriot and family friend, a break back on our island will do him a bit of good till this blows over... he has worked there before and may just get back into doing it again.
 
Definately needs to cool off in Zakynthos for a bit. I know for a fact that hes been well liked by previous teams hes coached, i could see him maybe berating the players in the change rooms but didnt expect that unprofessional hissy fit. Also didnt like him talking down vpl1, its one of the best divisions in the country, every game high stakes with auto promotion, playoff promotion spots and relegation on the line.

First Aussie mentioning Zante that I have ever seen. What a place, done a few summer seasons there.

Maybe he might of been better off saying it in person if he hasn't already. Though not ideal, i guess he felt he needed to say all that to try motivate the players, fair play to him.

Kind of reminds me of how we used to get yelled at as kids playing at Oakleigh in the 90s. Man the 90s was something different, itd be all over the news if kids today were treated like how we were back then haha.

Not exactly on the news, but i recall a very similar incident at this very club a year ago with parent and coach livid at their own under 9s game with a specific kid on their team (no club intervention or protection of the kid).. couldnt begin to describe the language used.... again he was 8 or 9yo! Opposition team threatened to walk unless they stopped!

Hard coaches yes, but lve never come across that in my playing career here or OS...

This is far from the first time he's ranted like this in a team group chat. Clear memories of him disrupting a Port Melbourne team night out a couple years ago after a loss with a voice message into the group chat saying similar things. Also has a track record of sending threatening voice messages to parents, coaches and players. Definitely has a few screws loose. Hope he gets the help he clearly needs !

I am a stickler for west facing beaches with sunsets. It is one reason why I do not like Paros, where all the decent beaches are on the East coast. Zakyntho only has Gerakas.

And I find the uniform shape of the island off putting.

But it is true that I do not have any contacts there, whereas I have a good friend from Kefallonia.
 
Well fujita has gone back home to japan

Politis got injured out for 8 weeks
Arambasic out for another 6 weeks

The 2 other asians havent played much
In the last 2 months so i dont think they will stay

Mallia has left the club since he was always on the bench and others would start even if they where poor

Poor orlovic has been relagated to the bench last 2 weeks after serving a 4 week suspenction for the bulshit red card against marconi

MIleto is just a puppet haiti gets players to leave by pissing them off and keeping there on the bench

As for who we are signing 2 players from last year ive mentioned earlier and the that american greek who sth melbourne had mentioned

Lots of rumours as players dont come here anymore just to play. We need to pay overs for players
Again damon is there for business purposes not there for the club anymore

Pissing the members off by not leaving and keeping haiti 4 years is beyond a joke. i want the old olympic back u said the wrong thing u where out. I dont think we will survive relagation so you buy 10 players and release 10 players doesnt work like that . Anyway clowns for me .
 
You will find the players we sign will end up at the mariners after the championship . We need a new coach first of all . Playing sd raiders at home and playing for draw and coaching staff happy to get a draw at home . Clowns . Someone cro fans tmw bring several clown suites please and hand them out
