We'll need to rely on our forward line to be able to capitalise on the chances created and convert them into meaningful shots at goal so they can find the back of the net, and even more so if Mo Toure is ruled out of our campaign opener.
 
German commentary naming the Canadian's clubs and some are big. They don't really look it.

Toure's back training so that silly reporting shouldn't have happened after just one day. That Bosnia goal gives me hope should Yengi start.

Espn suggested Leckie as a centre forward. I'd rather Irvine as a false 9 in that case. Are we really going to see Leckie as an attacker in 2026?

Canada need to get some false transitions going so they can work through the press. I know fans groan at back passes to the cbs and keepers, but they need to stretch bosnia out

Even with back passes the centre backs and keepers still need to be able to punt the ball long to progress downfield in addition to stretching out the opposition and getting past the press.

I wouldn't punt it, I think Canada are technically strong enough to work through the press and look dangerous when they do. I don't trust them to score too often when they are facing a deep defense though
 
OK the Canadian actually looks onside. Keeper cleanly gets the ball and the followed through punches the head.

They wouldn't be giving the penalty anyway because the Canada player was brought to ground as part of Nikola Vasilj carrying out a keeper action.
 
You're kidding. Canada shoot past the keeper and the defender blocks it into the underside of the bar.
