Yeah I heard the same... AND to top it all off he was trying to spread the rumour that Sinisas has been swearing at players and THATS why they sacked him.... lying prick, the players I have spoken to would walk through a brick wall for the guy.

Who is your cousin, the particular board member who was on transfer market the day after the final trying to find a "marquee" or was your cousin the cock sucker who has single handed destroyed our youth program and sent all of our best players to other NPL clubs to make way for the kids of dumb fuck parents who pay him under the table?

Disagree mate. Any player has every right to negotiate a contract and ask for more money.. especially someone like Bonada who has put his body on the line for our club over and over and over again.. For that malakismeno to get involved with who can and can't play in the final and then sack a coach 3 days after the event in a hissy fit is UNACCEPTABLE.... there are 3-4 lives left for the balcony bros before the call to sack the board comes out, lets hope it doesnt come to that.

He has every right to ask for a pay rise at start of season and i dont have a problem with the asking for the 10k ... but You dont ask for bonus before a final is what im saying... taking advantage of the employer is his perogative if he asked for money but its also the clubs to handle that accordingly, just has to be int he right way!

The way I heard it was that 2-3 players asked if they would get a bonus for winning the OFC ...thats ALL.

The bonuses depended on us winning the ofc. All Messourouni had to say was "lets win it and everything will be taken care of". How thin skinned do you have to be to lose to plot just on that?

I have no issue with any player asking about it, its a simple convo, it should not have affected anything going into the final.

But they were owed the payments from the bonuses...

During the early days when this had all come out, early sources were saying it was like 14 weeks wages owed, i never said it was that, i was just saying hmmmm interesting, maybe its true because a few people online are all starting to say the same thing, such as that guy who performs as a clown for a living.

It wasnt until later when i ran into my cousin whos on the board, confirmed and told me the actual real story. Now it's out in the open.

I hope no one is shocked, it's just an unfortunate situation due to ignorance and misunderstandings and people with egos who think they know better.

My cousin has said, he feels for the players, hes on their side but he also understands the reasoning why payments werent made even though promised. Just a shitty situation but hopefully for your teams sake, everyone forgets about it, and operates as a collective.

Hi, as someone who has represented current and past players at South Melbourne. I can assure you the club has had a habit on unpaid wages for some time now. This might not be the news you want to hear, but unfortunately it is true. Incompetent president and DOF unfortunately have no idea how to run a club that deserves much better.
