Should have done more to keep Spink and Khaddour but can’t blame them leaving as they’d both have been rotation players at the club. RB not a pressing issue in the market as I think O’Sullivan is really fucking good.

Thinking about players from VIC who would come to the club and walk into the first 11 has me scratching my head provided the Manny rumours are true.

CB, a midfielder, a wide player and another forward need to be added. Cancer also has to be cut.

Also re; relegation we’re so far off that. Bentleigh have copped something like 30 goals in their past 6 games, Gully and Thunder are awful. Interesting what happens with Melbourne City and their scholarship players and if they’ve managed to find a way to not lose all of them at once.

I still think we will finish 5th-6th but yesterdays loss was bad but there were excuses with such a disrupted week.

Assuming we are losing Dovison, Leech, Pope, Coveny and maybe Bonada We need 6 signings including a CB, a centre mid, attacking mid and 3 strikers/wingers.

Let’s see how ambitious the club is going to be if we want to go on a deep finals and cup run or just wait for the Championship

Im not convinced. A serious team does not lose a 2 goal lead against Altona at home. Our bench is atrocious and we always get worse when subs are made.

The South bench should be Charlston, Swibel, Menealou, Leech, Dovison and O'Sullivan.

The fact we are squeezing in the spuds like Messourouni and Lackay tells me we arent a serious football club and the coach is managing under certain orders from above. You wont convince me otherwise.

Enough tip toeing around things and not wanting to offend people. The presidents need to get lost.

I mean I’d gladly put up a tifo or start chants against the president(s). Boo when the inevitable substitution of Jr occurs.

I dknt think either of the 2 was a necessity.. we ended up losing marshall and bringing in Eliopoulos, we need 1 key centreback that can fit if any are out and a strong younger cb when we short imo. Coveny doesnt fit either bill and inglese especially doesnt. Right back i think o sullivan shouldve been pushed in and allow PA a break before we need tp spend big.

City youth have some good options but AL cuts are perhaps the smarter option to have discussed with forbthisntransfer window. football department should already know who is coming in and only announcements should be pending.

Im not worried about relegation either but there is a point there bc currently we dont know what to expect from this team in the theoretically easy games.. we need finals football however! We sacrificed something and it got us nowhere im not prepared to do the same for the sake of a QF or SF heroic exit feom AU Cup.. right moves and we can win the NPL and be stornger in the cup simultaneously..
