I suspect they have wet ink on a replacement super coach and are waiting to announce some sort of major coup.... the rumours will start leaking out on Sunday and they cockheads will be sitting on the balcony looking smug...

Weve got Magic, Gully, Thunder and Dandy City. If we cant find a way to get 12 points out of this, even without a manager, then all hope is lost. Another May, ANOTHER rebuild... lets see what Sunday brings... I suspect a poor performance will cause the mood to get pretty grim..

well said mate... ust with all the post match stuff that's come out following the loss... i'd imagine there's been some sort of miscommunication where they've budgeted/forecasted a certain amount for winning the trophy. when that didnt happen fingers were pointed and all sorts of arguments broke out. maybe something was said that couldnt be taken back?

as you said earlier i thought he coached like shit in the grand final... some terrible subs and tactical decisions. possibly his worst ever game as coach. maybe they thought he couldnt handle the pressure? or something happened in NZ? we seemed quite dispirited on the day... body language was strange for a cup final

even worse that this is right on the eve of the transfer window. who is gonna want to come to a club that sacks its coach out of nowhere with zero explanation? any player worth signing is going to have options, and this kind of instability leaves us no chance

we probably have the player quality to make an npl final and be competitive in aus cup first couple of rounds but that's about it... will be difficult to go too much further

whole thing is very troubling... have lost some sleep over the last few nights. club has gone backwards 2-3 years over the weekend unfortunately... very sad
 
I dont think our squad is that good. We have glaring weaknesses. Too many teams have us covered for pace and we have nothing up front. The amount of goals we conceeded in the ofc was ridiculous compared to Auckland.

We do have good technical players which offsets the above a bit but the lack of firepower is starting to hurt our midfielders (Uchida prime eg)

Whilst Bill Papastergiadis wants to blame Sinisa, maybe the club needs to look at its failure at replacing our gun 2 forwards from the Aus championship.

Eliopoulos and Cocks were good signings, the rest have been filler. Now look at what we lost after the Marconi game.

Im gonna hold fire a bit... Before it all turned to shit last weekend there was some sunshine on the horizon. I am banking on the fact we have a half decent coach lined up the morons just didn't know how to arrange the transition... If we had won the cup, gone to Canberra and presented it to the PM as was planned (some of the players didnt even know if the Canberra trip was still going ahead and if they would be here to play Hume btw) Im guessing some major funding announcements would have been triumphantly presented to the world, maybe even in person at the FA AGM... (I mean Anter Isak was partying with the wonder twins in Auckland wasn't he?) My concern is the players who looked absolutely shattered that they didnt deliver for the club..... The pressure these arseholes put them under would have been ridiculous...

We'lle bounce back, its just another tiny little disappointment in the long and brutal journey that is being a Hellatzi.. The APL will pretend to want Billy Paps and his little Kypreo friend, they will drive the price up for some muppet from Thailand who imports tsigara and then sell them the license for 1-2 million more than its worth.

We'll get another board coming with new promises. a new coach with a smaller budget and you, me and all these other tragic losers on here will enjoy each others company at Lakeside growing old and looking in from the cold while football in this country slowly dies...... or things eventually change.... who knows.
