You could create the World Cup in FC 27 as a customised tournament with all the national teams in it. The Roos will be added in FC 27 which I believe comes out in August.

Fired it up hoping all the final patches make for a smoother experience.

One thing I noticed is how bloody far my defence and midfield are apart more settings needed. Stupid roles either have fullbacks too high up and so deep Jason Davidson style.

I've had the annoying thing all year that upon opening the game it sometimes reverts back to the default mode and all the setting revert but the save file can be uploaded post main screen.

Yep - teams are currently available in Kick Off mode already (and I think as you mentioned, in career mode as free agents)

I don't even mind the way that eFootball plays. The thing that's wrong with it, it's Ultimate Team and that's it.
