I’ll respectfully disagree.

Yes the sacrifice was great, but at the end of the day there is no failure in losing a grand final. We walk away with cash and the knowledge of how to win it next year.

Mate there where more Greeks in Auckland that came to watch Hellas than there are Oakleigh heads.

Every single player on that plane came up to us and thanked us all for making the trip out and the lads were absolutely shattered. It hurt us, but we've been down before... We fight to the end, and I saw hunger in the squad NOT defeat last night.

That’s great to hear that the drive and determination to succeed is strong in the player squad.

Hume City can be the first target of our come back in the NPL Victoria competition. Smash them and make a statement to the other NPL clubs that Hellas is back.

Zoricich was standout for me also... think we csn do better ths mourdokoutas, wasnt a fan of him at marconi...

Mate a VERY impressive bunch of young men... Absolute class. We had nearly 50% of the Qantas flight either South players or fans last night... It couldnt have been easy, as a player, to have to sit there and be reminded that you lost, but we all came home as a family and I think(hope) they appreciated that...

I think we can do better as well, he was given the run around by Manny in the Aus championship grand final. Him and his partner at the back couldnt hold us off. Its a much easier task taking care of Swibel.

The front line needs to be fixed not only for the obvious reasons but to help the likes of Uchida who struggle when they see no movement ahead.
