English Premier League 🦁

People calling Arsenal anti-football need a history lesson in the game. All sorts of styles have won big shiny silver things before and will do so till the end of time.

The Gunners have won the league and could still do the double. Something they couldn't even achieve under Wenger with arguably a far more talented squad.

As for the relegation scrap, it really is two teams who I think could both faint at the finish line but Spurs will stay up by a fingernail.

Arsène Wenger won them far more silverware than Mikel Arteta ever will though. It’s taken him six years to win anything other than a Community Shield or an FA Cup using Unai Emery’s squad. Some stupid people will undoubtedly still argue that he’s now one of the best managers of all time, but in reality he’s not even close. If he’s one of the best then Arne Slot has to be too, which he clearly isn’t (he’s good but not that good).

Anti-football (or in internet slang haramball, from “haram” which is an Islamic word that comes from Arabic meaning “forbidden”, e.g. Muslims traditionally consider alcohol and pork haram) just refers to hyper-defensive football. The term is also used for managers like Antonio Conte, José Mourinho (who infamously became a pot calling the kettle black by accusing Spurs of “parking the bus”) and David Moyes. It works but it values sneaking results over entertainment, as more attacking managers like Pep Guardiola, Jürgen Klopp and Ange Postecoglou are funner to watch.

Regarding Spurs, we only need a point to stay up. We’ll throw the kitchen sink at Everton while West Ham will throw it at Leeds. However, we only need a point to stay up even if West Ham win. Therefore, I think we’ll stay up but it’s still shameful that a club of our size is even in this position.

sorry HSF, I expect the toffees to finish your lot off, worse a draw.
Hammers to upset Leeds.

As for other ladder finish.
Palace, absolute fail imo after having won trophys and early high flyer ladder places.
To finish round 15th they would be pretty deflated.
Toonville fail once again - surely they are gonna dump Howe.
Chelsea say no more.
LFC utter failure defending the title - been a utter mess least we will just Hang on by the look of it.

Newcastle United can still play European football next year depending on how results on Premier League matchday 38 pan out though but with the strength of their playing list you'd expect them to be doing better than mid-table.

Doubt it. RDZ instilled confidence in the side. The loss to Chelsea is just history repeating itself, they always fuck us over because our players don’t understand that derbies are important. This Chelsea side is rubbish but all they care about is beating Spurs. Agree about Liverpool though, spent all that money to have a bang average season.

Eddie Howe getting sacked would be like Mikel Arteta getting sacked. Both have been average but they’re hung up on “trusting the process”. Eddie Howe is an even bigger crossroads because England need him to prove that England produce good managers when they clearly don’t.

rubbish ? both of you have had rubbish seasons yours worse.
Your game was pretty even across the stats having not watched it.
Their front and midfield imo is better than yours again my opinion and P8 is far better than P17.
They have lacked a gaffa same you guys have till now.
RDZ in their corner could bring them together as well.
Yep our been dog shit :(

TBH being who owns them unlike Arsenal surprised they'd be sticking by the process - I really think its above him compared to Arteta.
Arteta learnt alot from the master.
Howe is a grafter nothing more imo.

Then who will English fans project on as if he was the next coming of Jesus Christ? 😂

You know who you are. 🤪

Manchester United leading Brighton 2-0 going into the half, as are Wolves against Burnley, Arsenal against Crystal Palace, Fulham against Newcastle United, Manchester City against Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest against AFC Bournemouth, Sunderland against Chelsea and Spurs against Everton, all by 1-0 scorelines. Liverpool and West Ham both scoreless going into the half of their Premier League matchday 38 games against Brentford and Leeds United respectively.

Time is up and De Zerbi saying you need to blow. Ah no, lots of time has been wasted. Managers should be sent off for this. Piss them off to the stands when they're blatantly wrong and harass officials.
