You can’t moan about live draws when the FFA gives your NPL sides a leg up when you play an A league side.
What's the leg up exactly? Home field advantage?

Home ground advantage is the correct answer. What's the leg up exactly? Home field advantage?
More importantly Pro vs Semi Pro.Home ground advantage is the correct answer.
Not just that but it’s not an open league system, so clubs who are locked out of the national league and in some cases were actively pushed out of it are at an inherent disadvantage. In any case I’m sure many non a league clubs would be perfectly happy to play away at a league clubs if that’s how the draw was done, im pretty sure that was originally more so done for logistical and financial reasons more than anything, to keep games at smaller more affordable more appropriately sized local grounds rather than expensive empty unnecessarily large rented out stadiums. And also wanting the draw in the preliminary rounds to be as transparent as possible a) has nothing to do with that b) doesn’t have any possible down sides, why would anyone be against itMore importantly Pro vs Semi Pro.
Home games surely isn’t that big an advantage.
I’d say it’s pretty fair.
Nonsense. Do York city get a home game in the FA cup if they draw say Liverpool, at Anfield. Don’t say it’s different. National cup competitions start way before the round of 64 or 32 in Australia. First out of the hat is at home right up to the semi finals.More importantly Pro vs Semi Pro.

Expect 10 new players in the transfer window
And from the few that go to games alot of us will be boycotting the australian championship
big name players in 2 weeks time wont change anything
Australian championshp olympic wont get 300 people to a game
I wont be attending any games in the australian championship and alot wont attend games until the current committe and owner leaves the club
And what happened to not wanting to spend money on npl coz it’s only for youth development, is that out the window now? Part of the reason the squad is what it is is because they massively cut the player budget isn’t it. Aren’t they paying players a few hundred bucks a game and asking them to play for the honour of the badge10 new players in June aint going to get you results straight away.
Just look at Sutherland and Bankstown. It takes time.
I remember dandy city bought half ex a-league players, spent 500k more on wages to not get relegated and they still did.

Never forget Bonnyrigg's spending spree, that was ridiculous and look where they are.10 new players in June aint going to get you results straight away.

Is this the same York city that can win their way up to the EPL via promotion? They dont NEED a home ground advantage, the FA treats them like a football club.Nonsense. No they saved themselves that year, they signed Santalab and Valeri.. cant remeber the third and they saved the season and havent gone down since...10 new players in June aint going to get you results straight away.

First out of the hat isn't necessarily at home in at least Victoria and SA now (it might be somewhere else I just can't think of too). Also lower ranked teams playing at home is pretty common globally, DFB-Pokal, Copa del Rey, Coupe de France all give home advantage to lower ranked teams. Sounds like FA Cup is different.Nonsense. Not sure, they've been pretty stable mid table since that early scenes when they first got promoted... not sure what happens behind the scenes.or was that for promotion?
i could of swore they spent so much money and it back fired.
The sponsor I&D pulled a lot of the sponsorship money after that.
The FA Cup is definitely different as there's no home advantage for lower-ranked sides because the team drawn first always gets hosting rights through to the semi-finals which are held at a neutral venue, whereas for the Hahn Australia Cup competition proper Member Federation sides host A-Leagues clubs when we get those matchups in the draw.Sounds like FA Cup is different.
