2025-26 A-League Women — finals series matches

Hope it’s the Nix but I have a feeling it’ll be City. Kinda hope Alexia Apostolakis does well cause it’s her birthday plus I rate her and want her to go overseas. She was also lovely to my family when we randomly met her in Sydney lol.
 
At the stadium now, after a little time at the pre-game activities (tried to win a drink bottle but couldn't get my shot quite on target), saw some families with some fantastic City signs that light up and everything (though whoever wrote them probably needs to learn the difference between 'to' and 'too' lol).

The atmosphere is good with people filtering in and definitely keen to support the teams :)

It'll likely be a close game but Shelby McMahon very marginally edges out Pia Vlok in the midfield battle and we'd expect Holly McNamara to run riot round Wellington Phoenix as was the case during the Dub home and away season.
 
Melbourne City and Wellington Phoenix now underway in the Dub grand final, with Melbourne City kicking from right to left and Wellington Phoenix going in the other direction.
 
Ninja Slushi's strike me as one of those appliances you might use once in a while, I mean if you're having slushies every day you'll end up as a fatty with a sugar problem in no time.
