A-League Mens 25/26 - Elimination Finals

Seen on Facebook Auckland blamed there low crowd on the rip off finals ticket prices the APL put in place. Couldn't read the full story as it was behind a paywall but its likely the APL will lower the cost of tickets for the next lot of matches.

Yeah. Football in NZ has suffered horribly since the NSL days with this.

And now Auckland FC fans are going to fall off the face of the earth because of prices.

I really feel for them. I reckon they should stick it up the APL and start their own league.

Besides the MLS with the Canadian teams where else?

How do it benefit Australian football having New Zealand teams in the league ?
Could argue Wales with England, but that’s an odd one where it’s obviously uk, but separate national teams. Have always found it odd, i know there’s historic reasons efc, but if you’re gonna have welsh teams in the league system, why not also have the Scottish teams. Or neither.

Australia with NZ is particularly unique because it’s in two seperate confederations.

US and Canada, I get it, but it’s crazy considering Canada is a bigger country than Australia and can’t muster its own proper national league
