I keep hearing things like this - I mean, I don't consume much football media outside of this forum and YouTube anymore, so I won't get too much into the debate - will always have a soft spot with some of his work though given the Griffith connections. I will die on the hill that his YSC piece last year is one of the top non-A-League pieces written in recent years.
I think people, myself included, are happy to concede he has to parrot what the APL feed him if he wants to to stay employed, its the vitriol he piles on to our clubs which seems to be of his own volition that rubs people the wrong way.. I would suggest his piece on your "hill to die on" topic was written as it was critical of a state fed and would have NEVER been attempted if it was Yoogali vs the APL.
