NPL 2026

Let’s go back to the pint I was trying to make.

Did Rugari think this nobody was representative of clubs like South Melbourne? The jerk never goes to the games!
Does he frequently bash the NPL? I know he’s an A-Liga journo but is he always critical of the NPL?

Not frequently ...... and to be honest I did not originally see him as anti NPL. I thought others had a bee in their bonnet.

But I keep coming across things like this, and you can now add me to those who think VERY little of him.

I keep hearing things like this - I mean, I don't consume much football media outside of this forum and YouTube anymore, so I won't get too much into the debate - will always have a soft spot with some of his work though given the Griffith connections. I will die on the hill that his YSC piece last year is one of the top non-A-League pieces written in recent years.
