Aussies abroad 🌍🦘

I was at both MCG and 10 or so years ago at Etihad stadium friendlies. Im sure you are not suprised to learn I am quite opinionated on football matters and on principle I despise half/half football scarves with a passion - the below is the ONLY one I own and I wear it proudly to Socceroos games, I even wore it Socceroos fanzone screenings

Most of my friends and family are just as passionate supporters of the Socceroos as they are of the Greek national team . I understand people NOT having the understanding of what it means to have two homelands but pretending to know what is another persons heart based on your own insecurity (the figurative "your") is bullshit. I LOVE having two teams to cheer for at World Cups sometimes (Greece ALMOST squeezed in the year - bloody Scotland GRRR) who wouldn't? IF by some bizarro world scenario Greece v Australia playing for a World Cup final.... I will have won before the ball is even kicked, is it so hard to comprehend?
Well mate adopt Scotland as your 2nd ream for the WC. John McGinn is a legend!!

Personally I would rather a full international career than just youth football. He’s not getting picked for their first team provided something extraordinary doesn’t happen and Croatia only have an under-23 team for the Olympics (a tournament they’ve never qualified for in football other than as Yugoslavia).
I agree with the consensus on his long term prospects however at the moment he is/was neither a full for both and possibly would have never been under Popa.

Parma’s game should be a good game. They aren’t quite safe yet (nine points clear with six games to go) but they won’t go down. They officially can’t make Europe though (though again they weren’t ever making it that far). I hope Ale Circati gets a move to one of the clubs playing in Europe next season. Didn’t Milan want him?

Norwich, Swansea and Watford won’t make playoffs. They both still can but only just. Middlesbrough can go up directly and Ipswich are second so that’s a massive game and should be a great watch. It’s unlikely that Boro will miss the playoffs as they’re eight points clear of seventh place (Wrexham) but Boro are in dogshit form and haven’t won any of their last six matches (their last win was when they beat QPR 4–0 away at Loftus Road on 8 March).

St. Pauli are in a serious but tight relegation battle. They’re currently 16th (third last) so they’re in the relegation playoff spot. Their last win was on 28 February when they beat Hoffenheim 1–0 away at PreZero Arena. Since then they’ve gone on a five match winless streak.
