well we never expected the miracle thats for sure.
Least we did lift and give them a run - lacked finish !
2 very close last ditch saves by them 1st half.
A period for some 15mins or more we were pumping winning 2nds breaking their lines just couldn't put the chances away !!!!!

No Miracle hey - I tell you what I did expect though - I expected Salah to start I expected Rio to start, I expected Robbo to start, I did not expect Isak to start even more so when Slot stated he only had 45mins in him, I expected to attack from the start yet none of this happened - Seriously its down to Slot 100% the reason we are out of the Champions league we got beat 4-0 by PSG over 2 games and yes I agree we came into the game and had a go towards the end without much luck though and in the end they get the goals and game over - this season cannot end soon enough but I fear that Slot may keep his job the question is what does that mean for next season?

I also did expect something - I actually didn't mind Isak starting with Ekitike - bit of a surprise to them in some ways but pretty much died the mo Ekitike went down ( I reckon achilles :().......
I screamed for Robbo before - best LB still imo.
Funny he started his/our 3 most expensive signings - Ekitike is the only one that has proved the worth.
IF we don't finish in top 4 surely he's gonnnnne ?! if we do make it I'll be pissed they stick by him, surely the lure of Alonso/Gerrard blows Slot out.

Wirtz - He has defo got something but then he just doesnt show it in a red shirt for me was massively disappointed with him this morning, Isak not sure he will ever fit into this team as he did at Newcastle they played to his strengths, Ekitike best one so far but now that looked like a bad injury and possibly out of world cup which is shattering for the lad.

yer Wirtz, you can see he could destroy defense's and his close footwork is dam great but he's sucha jekyl and hyde.
He's struggling to fit in - I sure hope he's the player we know can be next season.
I agree re Isak and the perfect Toon fit - lets not forget he's hardly played and he and our players would struggle reading his moves/likes dislikes - the work in progress here is plenty, right off season for him and us.
Kerkez young and gets out of position and then over cooks things - I don't get why Robbo isn't started always full stop !
Let the kid come off the bench instead htf can't he see that.
Ekitike is worth what we paid, he's got it during a disjointed messy season, a off season and re start next he's gonna be a gun for us imo.
Yes real shame his injury - as mentioned I'm calling achilles :( hope I'm very wrong !
 
yep the EPL's got cooked but have 5 spots again next season.
Dinamo.
For eg since 2012 EPL won 4 times.
Runners up 4 times.
Not too bad to me.
Obviously RM been the runaway winners.
BM twice winners.
PSG last season.

Barca biggest loser though - haven't been in since winning final 2015 !
 
EPL is definitely underachieving considering how much money they are investing in these teams. It's not just that they are losing, but many of these knockout ties haven't really been close.

Also funny how the narrative on PSG has switched. For years people used to say they can't win the CL because Ligue 1 is weak. Whereas now they say PSG has an advantage in Europe because Ligue 1 is weak.
