English Premier League 🦁

yer like whatever..........
On a brighter note united lost
Leeds held on for their first win against United since a shock 2010 FA Cup success when they were in the third tier.

The Yorkshire club were able to celebrate their first top-flight win against United since 2002 and their first league victory at Old Trafford in 45 years.

hung in the last 15mins or so, faced many corners - when under the pump and not having won there for so long.
Last 5 games are finals as it is for Forest Hammers Spurs - you guys need couple more wins and other results will help.
Yep. I think 3 should be enough to keep us up.

Wolves & Burnley at home plus Bournemouth away are all winnable and must wins.

The irony is we have Spurs away on the 12th May, that'd be some story if we were the team that sent them down.

The last big team like that to go down was us 2 decades ago when Viduka shit the bed after scoring in getting himself sent off which cost us that game.

Must wins full stop Wolves/Burnley - their defense suck.
Bournemouth are tuffer.
Yer I saw the spurs fixture but I think may come down to your last vs Hammers that will seal the fates of either Hammers/Spurs or Forest.

Would spurs being relegated be bigger than when newcastle went down over a decade ago?
Would a reigning European champion and Big Six club getting relegated be bigger than when a pre-oil money Newcastle side that had won nothing for decades getting relegated?

Newcastle in the 90s and 00s were massive despite there lack of success. Competing for EPL titles, Champions League, so when they got relegated it was a huge deal.

Not to mention there fan base is massive, probably the best in England.

without downplaying how 'big' a club Newcastle were at the time, I think the implications for Spurs would be a lot bigger given the ever widening gap between EPL and the Championship and the investment they currently have in their stadium and squad. The video posted a few posts back explains it very well.

no doubt Toon have a huge following.
Got to say the 70/80's Spurs out done them I reckon higher table finish more than not.
00's as well.
Toon always been strong but I feel have suffered more ups and downs than Spudz generally.
The 20's Spudz have hardly finished lower than P10.
Toon overall through those 2 decades have finished many times below P10 Beretta.
Mind you yep Toon have won alot more silverware than Spudz.
