Sign Up Now!As has been the case with Marconi in recent years too. As I say, imo a level of investment in match day experience that you just wouldn’t have seen at this level in 5-10-15 years agothe club is working hard to make it enjoyable off the field, as per the above attachments suggests.
Sounds like FootballNSW board meeting. lol.Sydney Olympic supporters to have a meeting about having a meeting! In which the outcomes will be discussed in the next meeting
being you mentioned what they/SO are lacking I had to review the history for they have had their ups and downs and I giggled at totti's post for that how they have looked for yonks - who's on 1st what's on 2nd kind of greek roller coaster.Marconi came back because it was an aberration, I was there the night they went down, whilst a pall of gloom was in the air Marconi have serious money, have dedicated admin and staff and players who want to come back badly ( Marko Jesic was playing for them and still played for them when they went down ) .
Sydney Olympic have none of that, they've been teetering for a long time, I reckon it's the kick in the arse they need. Sometimes you need to suffer and this isn't the A League where shit clubs stay afloat, relegation sorts the wheat from the chaff, as it should.

With Popa's ears facing forward like that he can hear the future.
Bit of an aside but geez I’m still not sold on this new Olympic club crest. Even if they’d just gone the Olympic torch and left off the S it would have been better imobeing you mentioned what they/SO are lacking I had to review the history for they have had their ups and downs and I giggled at totti's post for that how they have looked for yonks - who's on 1st what's on 2nd kind of greek roller coaster.
Corry's mention triggered me for he played for them way back under their original name - again the young gen wouldn't relate to.
Pan Hellenic !
Also they have been relegated way back in time - great re reading their history/results/foes/and check some of the crowd figures, one against Spirit @ NthSyd oval record 18+K in '98/99.![]()

Hey @Beretta You blanked out the Italian flag on the boomerang? Are you David Hill ?

Sounds like FootballNSW board meeting. lol.
I wish I could find it again, there used to be a video floating around online from when that call was made re the Italian flag on the Marconi crest at threat of expulsion from the league and the reporters went to Marconi and Sydney united to get peoples takes. They interviewed this old Croatian guy and he says something along the lines of “if we’re no good why they don’t make their own team and call them even the shark or something”Inclusiveness lol
People who use words like that are secretly the most racist.Inclusiveness lol

Yeah I know, I'm just having some fun. Forum needs "more activity" apparently.Well we are Sydney Croatia....
In all seriousness it's just a black and white photo.
If you were really David Hill you would have included a burning Greek flag and told everyone "its OK I married a Greek woman"....Inclusiveness lol
