whinge whinge whinge.
Do people expect to pay what AL games cost ?
People waste far more on betting for starters.
I mean, no. But $120 is a lot, especially for a friendly. Prepping us for American ticket prices lol (I woulda loved to go to the World Cup but fuck it’s expensive).

it sound exxy I agree but as mentioned, people spend that much on take out, a thai dinner + a bottle.
Infact I spend more taking the fam.
Other smokes/drinks/gambling far exceeds $240 what MCG paid.
Agree re WCup - I will never go to that travel expense + accom + ticks + food/drink etc - sure I'd luv supporting our NT now that big $ and nothing to compare spending $240 x 2 people watching 90mins - $2.60 a minute.
People spend $5/6 for a coffee.

I think it's a fine line between spending on your passions and getting ripped off. For example it's better value eating outside the stadium then paying $9 bucks for a pie

no rocket science there MCG, if your on a tighter budget you fill your belly before going through the gates - like really not that hard to work around things.
Passion spend ? well thats what its all about it always costs more - like you said how often do you spend to watch a Roo game ? sure isn't 3/4/5 times a year.
Again whinge is all I see as Sutho mentions of many supporters here.

Save your buck watch it on tv :)

More about who's readily available but the position shift makes no sense. Popovic logic.

Disappointed for Karacic. Couldn't we just have called in another striker? We've got enough defenders.

$120 including food and drinks makes sense but for tickets alone that’s pretty expensive especially when you add in drinks, food, merch and the ever-so costly petrol.

The pricing makes sense for the rarity of a national team game and we need revenue streams. At the same time having people pay through the nose with the risk of a shit game isn't going to retain people. That's the risk you take with football but it isn't helping getting more people up for it.

Just because other businesses are a rip off doesn't mean we need to follow suit.

We should play in stadiums with reduced capacity to create a FOMO for tickets and it's a better all round atmosphere.

I've gone slightly differently

Without Irvine, Balard and Nisbet the best person that offers an outlet to the cbs is metcalfe. Okon is great at screening the ball but won't go looking for the ball if the CBs are under pressure (something that he will learn). I'd also go Behich as a more solid defender than Bos with Bos coming on later exploiting tired legs.
