Big Ange thread

Pundits can be dumb a lot of the time. So quick to blame Ange and say he created this losing culture. Is it not the new coaches job to change it then? If he can't change it, then it suggests he is not good at his job. If the players can't fix the mindset, then they are not worth their wage. You are basically saying that the players are allowed to lose if they choose to do so whenever they feel like it.

How exactly does one 'normalise losing' while winning a first trophy in 17 years?

After the full time whistle on that night in Bilbao did all the Tottenham players and staff feel like they had won or lost? Holding that Europa league trophy aloft must surely have been the final nail in the coffin of their losing mentality.

Is winning now...losing??

Honestly there are some goldfish swimming around in glass bowls that have more depth of thought than some people walking around masquerading as humans.

Regardless of fan opinion, it’s not like the next team who hires Ange is worried that a Europa League winner is going to leave behind a ‘losing culture’ that sticks even after he’s gone.

Yeah instead of realising that perhaps Solanke, Tel, and Odobert don't replace Son and Kane, they want to blame it all on the previous coach.

Losing Harry Kane and Son Heung-min aging really hurt us. Just remember too that only one player is left from the 2019 Champions League final: Ben Davies, who never plays and is just kept around for leadership (though would probably get minutes in the Championship). They weren’t exactly replaced either. Any of our good players will get bigger moves. In fact even the average ones may leave in the event of relegation. But regardless, I still think we would spend enough on new players to go back up easily if that happened.

Yeah I know I'm joking. Love your pod tho 👍

Actually you know what you never know. He could listen and it could happen one day.
Agree re getting on GG pod - our resident spartan Mono/with Graz should send a well prepared email to Ange stating his SMH devotion and GG's passion behind our game here that he knows so so well, needs more support and a forum that means alot to many with very little funding.
What harm is it in trying :)
