Possibly but I don’t think so. Alanna Kennedy has been in midfield for the whole tournament.

I think it's the right decision for Montemurro to be playing Alanna Kennedy in midfield throughout the Tillies' campaign especially since she leads the race for the Golden Boot and seems to be performing better there or in defensive midfield as opposed to at centre back.

Plus we know how she went against the Lionesses as a CB.
 
Matildas in their road licorice allsorts strip for the semi-final against China, with the reigning champions in their all red kits with yellow embellishments. Mackenzie Arnold in the purple keeper kit for the Tillies, returning to the status quo for the vast majority of matches throughout our campaign except the quarterfinal against North Korea.
 
Supiree Testhomya from Thailand the referee for the Matildas' semi-final against China, with both assistant referees also from Thailand. Doumouh Albakkar from Lebanon is the fourth official, with Sivakorn Pu-Udom from Thailand and Meshari Al-Shamari from Qatar acting as VAR and AVAR for this match respectively.

You can see where they've tried to cover up AFL markings ahead of Optus Stadium hosting its first match of the season on Saturday but for a semi-final of a major tournament they really should be doing better.

This performance so far is living up to the potential of the team. Having the quality of Cooney-Cross, Fowler and Catley all out there together is huge. Our movement is slick.
