I thought it was offside.

What’s the lag for the rule? The NK player had time to get rid of it.

I can’t remember how the Korea defender got the ball / how long they had it for. But this is the closest bit of guidance in the LOTG I can see at the moment.

A midfielder (Team A) passes the ball back to a defender (Team A). The defender gains control of the ball but, before he/she plays the ball, an opposing player (Team B) came from an offside position, made a challenge and intercepted the ball. What is the referee’s decision?

Play continues – the Team B player is not 'offside' as the ball was not played by another Team B player.

Ah cheers 😅

Also coupled with this (if the defender won the ball while Kerr was offside)

A player moving from an offside position interferes with the movement of the opponent towards the ball. Is it an offside offence?

Yes, if it impacts on the ability of the opponent to play or challenge for the ball. If the player intentionally impeded the opponent’s progress (e.g. blocks the opponent), the offence should be penalised under Law 12.

Yeah. I was expecting it to be called.
