So annoying watching them get possession, have an open player, look at them, and then decide, "nah, i'm going to turn into opposition players instead"

Missed the third goal

Amy Sayer coming on in the 71st minute for the Matildas, replacing Clare Wheeler.

Gosh our midfield is so soft.

No sturdiness at all, just gets rings run around it.
We're also giving South Korea too much space with our zonal marking which has led to them being able to get downfield and have those easy shots at goal.

5 defenders vs 2 attackers in the box, and they decide to send it into the middle. The Matildas have this tendency to panic when they are behind and their decision making gets worse.

Foord is too wasteful. Looks like the plan is just to go aerial now but makes no sense because we are not committing numbers forward, so we are always outnumbered.

Emily van Egmond coming on in the 84th minute, replacing Katrina Gorry. Kyra Cooney-Cross also getting her first minutes of game time for the Matildas this campaign, replacing Winonah Heatley.

Ding dong. She's needed a benching for years to lose the complacency. We've been too kind on reputations.
Van Egmond going to come on, so looks like we'll stick with the route one option.
Putting van Egmond on (even having her in the squad) is a damning indictment of the absolute lack of depth in Australian women’s football.

The only reason why the Matildas have to resort to route one to salvage a point is because we haven't been clinical and failed to capitalise on chances early on, and conceded goals easily.
Yeah, but they are parking the bus, so that means there is space in the midfield. We should be able to utilise that space and create pressure and chances. By lumping it long and not committing numbers, we are allowing them to relax and the chances of us getting on the ball are far less.
