Stama doing his national team chances no harm with Popovic watching. His time at Motherwell was a total success so the move is still a little confusing but perhaps being in front of Popovic and getting plenty of minutes was the goal.

Our weather delaying kickoff times (e.g we never see 1:00pm kickoffs, 2:00pm is the earliest and only the ALW does that I think) makes it on at a reasonable time for Europeans.

Either way it’s honourable to see such elite footballers watching our league. Hopefully this means we’ll attract more elite talent when they retire (e.g imagine Bruno Fernandes and Harry McGuire playing in the A-League over the MLS or SPL!).

SPL = Saudi Pro League

The SPL became the Premiership in July 2013 (I turned 15 that year and was 14 at the time) so I’m used to calling the Scottish Premiership the “Scottish Premiership”.
