English Premier League 🦁

Millwall are looking at promotion

i would rather see them vs west ham in the premier league while spurs go down.
Yeah I saw that, any with the expansion of the EFL playoff positions to 6 there is a good chance they might. Love to see them back in the EPL, very proud club.

Downside for them if they go down is more league games. I know for a fact they love that their stadium can be used for many things outside football.
This isn’t a secret. Even if they never say it, it’s not a secret and nobody’s ever denied it. The owners have always wanted it to be used for NFL and concerts because of the revenue they bring in (since the tickets are more expensive, which says something because Spurs tickets are expensive anyway).

To be honest even though it’s a lovely world-class stadium with luxury everything, I don’t think football is the real reason White Hart Lane was demolished. It was purely so we could have a bigger and better stadium to attract more people and pay higher prices.

Like you have said, not a secret. My mate went on the stadium tour in 2024, and that's all it was about. How great the stadium is, did you know we can have NFL games now? How great.

Better than the dump poor West Ham ended up in.

If Wolves keep up their winning form and somehow stay up it could be both Spurs and West Ham down.

Technically Millwall have never played in the Premier League. The last time they played in the Football League First Division (the predecessor to the Premier League) was the 1989–90 season, when they got relegated a season after their best ever finish of 10th.

I hear about Millwall a lot. Must be a big club
They’re certainly any interesting and historical club. They’ve got an intense rivalry with West Ham, which was made famous internationally by a movie called Green Street Hooligans (well, that’s its Australian title at least, the English just call it Green Street). Another thing they’ve become known for is their very passionate fans, though some of these are either hooligans, over-the-top and/or even racist, which has become quite controversial.

They finished above 17th at least once, so they must be a big club

I think the difference though is that West Ham are (relative to Spurs) a smaller club. Again this is why the Conference League was massive for them and this season even staying up would be quite big. Spurs have all this money for a big fancy stadium but can’t buy big players.

Yeah I mean NFL and BeyoncĆ© concerts are cool and all but the stadium is first and foremost a football stadium. The club doesn’t it see it that way though. There’s a German guy called Fiago (@Fiagoball on Insta, he has a YouTube channel too) who does some good football content (not just big European clubs but also small clubs, e.g he’s a big Hamburg fan and has gone to Brazil and India) and he ranked Spurs’ atmosphere quite low because of how corporate it was. He said the food was good though, but while the food was better at THS (ā€œthe best stadium in Englandā€) he said the atmosphere was better at Kennilworth Road (which people call ā€œthe worst stadium in Englandā€; Luton’s home ground that’s basically in someone’s backyard and the only proper food is pies).

They need a waterfall like "really" Old Trafford has....
Speaking of moving stadiums, aren’t Man United supposed to be moving from Old Trafford into a huge 100,000-seat stadium or was that just a rumour? If so and it’s in a different spot I hope they keep Old Trafford for the women’s team like Everton did with Goodison when they moved to Hill Dickinson.

I think that is a special feature so Lady Gaga can perform when they are not playing at home against West Brom next year.
Chances are she won’t be signing ā€œFucking Perfectā€ to describe us lol.

Edit: wait no that’s P!nk my bad. She can’t read ENIC’s ā€œPoker Faceā€ I guess?
