I was going to accuse trump of not having clear objectives, or long term plan when he said they wouldn't stop until all objectives were achieved.

There's no long term plan whatsoever.

This whole operation smacks of the invasion of Iraq and the intervention in Libya....

if confirmed this could be to prevent him being named a leader again, as he could be palatable bad option to many people, inside and outside Iran. He was for the regime, but also a bit of a clown and not as ultra religious
