People that should be strung up from the nearest tree.

Fucken hell. That’s shocking. Puts the shivers up your spine....

I have a young nephew who is gay. He's such a nice genteel young man and has just started going out to clubs and stuff.

I'd die if anything like this happened to him.

Absolutely the horriblist of horrible people who are going around doing this shit.

Seems to be the good Muslim boys, trolling the gay apps, set up a meeting, then half a dozen of them beat the shit out of who ever turns up, Then post it on the socials. Little do they know about the Arabs of old

You get carnts everywhere....

I grew up in this little town in the north east of England near Middlesbrough called Redcar.

Thee was a Pakistani family which had the corner shop/bottle shop or off-license as they're called in England, at the end of our street.

A group of local dumbarse skinheads decided to start abusing him and his wife.

Started off with shouty racist remarks, they put his shop windows through, then they beat up his kid who was about 15.

Very upsetting for everyone concerned especially the people like us who lived in the street because everyone knew him and his wife and they were well liked.

His kid went to my school. Quiet lad who wouldn't have hurt a fly.

Yeah but that doesn't suit his racist narrative.

Not to mention that there are over 200 unsolved murders in Sydney from the 70s, 80s and 90s of gay men by, presumably, bogan white trash.

They’d be closet queers just like the religious folk from the other side that make a song and dance about gay marriage

or NOT so old:

Fascinating but this made me laugh. They really did invent everything.

Origins of Bacha bazi

Scholar and Turkologist Ingeborg Baldauf (1988) hypotheses that bacha bazi originated from Hellenistic Greco-Bactrian influences developed in the regions of Bactria and Sogdia, noting the similarities in classical Greek pederastic customs and the distinction between erastes (lover) and eromenos (beloved). Another potential origin being from Ancient China, due to the parallels of Chinese and Central Asian 'boy love', and its existence in East Turkestan.[20] The Journal of Trafficking and Human Exploitation (2019) said that bacha bazi is considered by some anthropologists to have been introduced by Alexander the Great's ancient Macedonian army in Central Asia. Further stating "[o]ld poems, tales, and songs about Bacha Bazi in Afghanistan predate the pre-Islamic era (Eighth Century)."[21] The Journal of Contemporary Asian Studies (2018) said, "t is generally believed that bachabazi existed in antiquity", but added it was unclear if it was connected with ancient Occidental pederasty due to insufficient study to "offer a conclusive picture" in the context of antiquity.[22]

Just by the by why dress up boys as girls? Why not just use girls?

Was ogling and buggering young boys seen as some sort of loophole?

When God said "Let there be light" the Greeks already had the Zippo out sparking up a ciggie.

When I say laugh I mean that about the Greeks not the actual Bach Bazi boys. There's some grim reading in that wiki.

In a 2013 documentary by Vice Media titled This Is What Winning Looks Like, British independent film-maker Ben Anderson describes the systematic kidnapping, sexual enslavement and murder of young men and boys by local security forces in the Afghan city of Sangin. The film depicts several scenes of Anderson along with American military personnel describing how difficult it is to work with the Afghan police considering the blatant molestation and rape of local youth. The documentary also contains footage of an American military advisor confronting the then-acting police chief about the abuse after a young boy is shot in the leg after trying to escape a police barracks. When the Marine suggests that the barracks be searched for children, and that any policeman found to be engaged in pedophilia be arrested and jailed, the high-ranking officer insists what occurs between the security forces and the boys is consensual, saying "[the boys] like being there and giving their asses at night". He went on to claim that this practice was historic and necessary, rhetorically asking: "If [my commanders] don't fuck the asses of those boys, what should they fuck? The pussies of their own grandmothers?"[58]

Yeah Ive seen the VICE doco, probably what prompted me to respond with the wiki article... Some aspects of a certain culture are so far backwards in time, they are neanderthal. Epstein is probably seen as the dude who runs the local 7/11 there.

I've just added that doco to my watch list.

Any good?

Those sheilas look fine. Who doesn't love suspenders?

Never understood the hate vegans get. (Besides your militant ones.)

People arc up about what someone chooses to feed themselves. What's the big deal?

If you're somewhat of a human with any sort of empathy you'd hope the animals we eat are treated humanely. It's the very least we can do.
I'm no vegan but the reality is it's pretty hard to produce meat on an industrial scale without causing trauma and sufferring to animals. Anyone here ever been to an abattoir? We've got be comfortable with that if we eat meat. I do, but yeah it happens.

Edit: You pretty much made the same points in subsequent posts.

Yep. I'll totally agree with this.

This is what I think..

When closeted gay men show hostility and violence toward openly gay people, it usually isn’t about the openly gay person at all. It’s often about identity conflict. They don’t hate gays they hate themselves....

For example if someone grows up hearing that being gay is wrong, sinful or shameful, they can quiet easily absorb those beliefs.

When they realise they’re gay themselves, that shame doesn’t just disappear, it turns inward. Then sometimes it gets redirected outward toward openly gay people. An internalised stigma if you like.

People that are 'closeted' often live with anxiety about being “found out.” So if someone openly gay is confident or visible, it can trigger fear.

Unresolved shame often converts into anger. And the anger is easier to feel than vulnerability....

Of course not all closeted gay people behave this way. Many struggle quietly and don’t harm others. But there's definitely an element that do, sometimes it's worded hatred and sometimes it goes beyond those words intomore sinister things..

Completely agree. It's amazing how many people that hate gay people get outed down the track for sucking off some bloke in a dunny.

Makes you wonder about some of the openly angry people here. (Not that there's anything wrong with that. Jerry Seinfeld.)

I think that might be one of those stereotypes that isnt necessarily always the case. Not saying you are both wrong but your classic angry "poofta basher" isnt always closet gay... sometimes they just hate because they NEED something else to hate... just my 2 cents.

I suppose all the Islamic states that kill gays must really be run by closet gays. Who wooda known

To be honest I'm not sure why these numbskulls go on about gays all the time.

Between me and the wife we've got 3 gays in our extended families. My best mate's daughter is a lezz, we know a few socially and considering I'm into jazz and go to a lot of jazz clubs and stuff that's not surprising.....

But the way some dipshits harp on about gays you'd think 50% of the the world was one!!
