2025–26 A-League Women — regular season matches

Adelaide United ran out 2-0 winners over Brisbane Roar to close out A-League Women matchday 18, with the league now shutting down for three weeks for the international break and Women's Asian Cup. The result sees Adelaide United move to third on the ladder on 26 points, whilst Brisbane Roar remain eighth on 22 points, level with Melbourne Victory and Central Coast Mariners but with inferior for and against, having suffered their sixth loss of the season.

Most of the playing lists will essentially be at full strength by the time the Dub returns from the Women's Asian Cup break with only Holly McNamara and Michelle Heyman missing for Melbourne City and Canberra United, whilst Brisbane Roar won't have Chloe Lincoln or Angie Beard, and Western Sydney Wanderers will be without Janae DeFazio, Wang Ying and Yuan Cong.
 
Shay Hollman finally making her return from injury for Sydney FC, along with Kirsty Fenton who returns to the extended squad after serving her one-match suspension. Laura Hughes is also making her return from injury for Melbourne City, but Melbourne Victory will be without Sienna Saveska for their match against Western Sydney Wanderers at Home of the Matildas after she sustained a foot injury. Brisbane Roar are without Angie Beard and Chloe Lincoln for their match against Wellington Phoenix, which is game two of a doubleheader at the Cake Tin as both are at the Women's Asian Cup, along with Melbourne City, Canberra United and Western Sydney Wanderers who are without Holly McNamara, Michelle Heyman, Janae DeFazio, Wang Ying and Yuan Cong respectively for the same reason.

Riley Tanner yellow carded for Sydney FC for some biff, becoming the first player to receive one this match. She's also received her fifth yellow card of the season, meaning that she'll miss Sydney FC's next match at home against Wellington Phoenix and will have to serve a suspension for too many yellow cards.
